Ontario Learning Development Foundation
Ontario Learning Development Foundation is an education centre that aims to transform and empower our communities by providing programs and resources for children, youth, new immigrants, women, and families. They also release online publications that help educate, inspire, and empower their respective audiences. These publications include Black Voice, Business Hub, The Newcomer, The Youth Mind, and Women Quest.
I was responsible for developing the editorial layout, graphics and designs, sourcing images, and proofreading The Newcomer, Youth Mind, and Women Quest magazine issues showcased below. Along with the Managing Editor, I generated concepts and motifs that reflect the branding while revamping the previous issue’s aesthetic.
The Newcomer
The Newcomer is an education hub that strives to educate, empower, and elevate newcomers in Canada. The Newcomer provides informative resources, services, and how-to guides to assist newcomers with adjusting to a new home.

Youth Mind aims to inform, motivate and empower the youth of today. Youth Mind tackles diverse topics that are relevant to today’s society such as social justice, the education system, and in mental health.
